The amount of spam calls has increased from 15 to 21 spam calls/months from last year. Kenya, Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria are African countries that made the list last year but have now dropped out. |

| University of Cape Town-based research group, the Zamani Project, is trying to preserve heritage sites around the world and particularly in Africa, through accurate digital representations. They are using laser scanning and GPS technology, photogrammetry, 3D modelling software, Geographic Information Systems and animation software to digitally capture and preserve these sites.
